SAES Pure Gas Announces the introduction of the new MegaTorr® MGT PS22 Series of superior House/Area Gas Purifiers
San Luis Obispo, CA – September 19, 2007 – SAES Pure Gas Inc, a world leader and supplier of gas purification technology equipment to the semiconductor and other industries announced today the introduction of the new MegaTorr® MGT PS22 Series of superior House/Area Gas Purifiers. The PS22’s enhanced state of the art purifier is designed and optimized to deliver consistent sub-parts per billion (ppb) performance. SAES Pure Gas has drawn on years of Ultra-High-Purity (UHP) piping design , advanced process material analysis, and state of the art integrated control systems to develop this advanced line of House/Area Gas Purifiers to meet the high reliability, high performance and low capital cost requirements of today’s semiconductor industries.
The PS22 Series utilizes an ambient temperature adsorption processes designed to purify CDA, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Inerts, and O2/inert mixtures to specifically provide UHP gas for semiconductor applications. Outlet impurity levels for CO2, H2O and trace impurities including TOC’s (C7+), amines, ammonia, siloxanes, sulfurs, refractory compounds, phthalates, carboxylic acids and NOx, are reduced to below ppb levels. The PS22 is designed to minimize impurity break through by utilizing a regenerable “self-cleaning” purification system as opposed to traditional disposable “fixed capacity” canister. Experience has shown that inlet impurities can vary greatly depending on ambient atmospheric conditions.
